SoberLivingOS Updates
New features, improvements, and fixes, with a date. This public update history starts on October 5, 2026.
New feature · October 17, 2026
Report maintenance needs and follow requests through a dedicated Operations queue.
Authorized staff can filter requests, open focused details and follow their status. Dashboard reporting and house-manager access follow existing program permissions. A saved request remains saved even if refreshing the queue fails.
Improvement · October 16, 2026
Authorized staff can identify overdue chore follow-up and review resident follow-up insights where available.
Chore follow-up highlights unfinished work that needs attention. Insight details follow staff access to houses and residents; wider summaries use counts rather than private resident details.
New feature · October 15, 2026
Resident Tools includes meeting resources and a resume builder residents can use for their job search.
Search available NA meeting listings or follow links to AA meeting resources. Residents can prepare and download their own resume as a PDF. Resume content stays private to the resident and does not add program or housing details.
New feature · October 15, 2026
Programs can maintain a resident resource directory and review entries before sharing them.
Staff can organize resources for their own program. Residents see resources their program has made available through the resident portal.
New feature · October 15, 2026
Operators can send service inquiries from Operator Tools and review their request history.
Submitting an inquiry does not place an order or authorize a purchase. Request dates and status stay available in the operator workflow.
New feature · October 15, 2026
Find curated supplier and service listings in a dedicated Operator Tools area.
Listings are maintained by SoberLivingOS and remain separate from your referrals and vendors. Phone layouts include request history and retry controls. Available listings depend on what has been added.
Improvement · October 15, 2026
The homepage shows current totals for houses and residents served by the platform.
Totals reflect operational records rather than sample or invented numbers. Only aggregate numbers are shown, without identifying programs or residents.
Improvement · October 14, 2026
Printed and emailed Resident Reports now show the date each drug screen was performed and what a failed screen was positive for.
The Date column always shows the test date. Photo documentation is listed separately beneath the result. Failed screens list the substances staff recorded. If none were recorded, the report says so.
New feature · October 12, 2026
SoberLivingOS apps are coming soon to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Until then, staff and residents can keep using SoberLivingOS on any iPhone or Android phone and add it to their home screen for one-tap access.
Improvement · October 12, 2026
Tap the mic and ask about your program, or ask it to get work done across the app, with a review step before anything changes.
Ask questions about your own houses, residents, and activity and get answers from your live program data. Request several steps at once. The assistant shows the full plan for your review and only acts after you approve it. Say where you want to go and the assistant opens the right screen. If it is unclear which resident or house you mean, the assistant asks before acting. Your existing roles and permissions still apply.

Improvement · October 11, 2026
Eligible resident House Managers can find curfew attendance, drug-test reporting, and resident photos together in their approved manager area.
Programs with these tools enabled can let managers record residents observed at home, with clear manager attribution rather than GPS verification. Drug-test reporting retains required photographic evidence and locks completed results. Assigned-resident photo capture includes a preview and explicit save, with clear loading and retry messages. Availability follows program permissions and assigned-house access.
Fix · October 8, 2026
The resident portal’s notification bell now opens a readable notification panel on phones and desktops.
Residents can read their notifications, follow available resident links, and explicitly mark notifications as read. The bell remains available when there are no unread notifications, with clear empty and retry states. Opening the panel or a drug-testing tab does not automatically clear unrelated notifications.
Improvement · October 8, 2026
Authorized house managers can update unfinished chore assignments alongside their house’s chore templates.
Assignment editing supports chore details and deadlines while preserving resident placement, photos, and activity history. Edits affect the selected assignment only, without changing future recurring occurrences. House scope, administrator restrictions, and the rule against approving your own chore remain in place.
